Visit the mysterious archeological huge round ruins of "Rujum el Hiri" in Golan Heights **, and try to speculate for what purpose it was built thousands of years ago. Nothing is known about it whatsoever, only that it is much larger (156 meters in diameter) and more mysterious than the better-researched round Stonehedge in Britain. Your guess may be as good as that of the best experts'

Smaller and less impressive, but 16 km (10 miles) closer, just about 2 km from where Jordan River joins Lake Tiberias (Kinneret) are the round ruins of "Hirbat Beteyha" (55 meters in diameter). Warning! Do not go there! Danger of mines! The Syrians put these mines 75 to 56 years ago and left no maps, so there are no maps or signs of these mines, whose exact place is not known.

Rujum el Hiri is considered safe.
