Explanations only in short: Edit plain text as in any editor. No save into harddisk.
You may paste text from the clipboard by either CTRL-V or SHIFT-INSERT.

When your text is ready CTRL-A and then either CTRL-C or CTRL-INSERT.
Later paste in an email, response, or another editor or word processor if available.
You may edit further in the email or response area.

To erase all text in the area use CTRL-A and then BACKSPACE.

All these are exactly as in most editors and word processors.

This editor lacks the "save to harddisk" feature.
Use CTRL-A and either CTRL-C or CTRL-INSERT to copy to the clipboard,
